New progress for electric power system reform

Recently, a new electric power system reform programme has been drafted and submitted to the State Council. People who discuss the reform progarmme revealed that it’s seeking power generation plan, meanwhile, private capital will be allowed to involve into the field of distribution and sale of electricity. The draft mentioned the promotion of direct power supply to important users, allowing direct power trade between plants and users, government will no longer make power generation plan.
